What is emergence intelligence?

We are living through an era of accelerating systems collapse — ecological, political, economic, and social. Those of us working through this collapse are doing so under conditions of chronic existential threat. We encounter and experience cycles of shock, despair, burnout, renewal, reconnection, and re-engagement over the course of months to decades.

What enables some of us to both endure these conditions AND to deepen our commitment over time — to become more effective, more compassionate, more present, and, ultimately, more free?

Emergence Intelligence is the capacity to sustain oneself and one’s work in the moments between systems breakdown and systems breakthrough, while simultaneously creating new solutions, institutions, and systems for an unknowable future.
